People want to feel like their lives matter - who they are, what they do and where they live. Every one of us is a curator. We choose things for our home, keep old photographs and pick impressive, silly or personal things to put at our desks.

Jake Stewart - The Rogue Curator - and his team work with the universal and undeniably human instinct to curate.

We elevate the work, experiences and lives of people - whether that’s an individual, a community or a business - by making their stories tangible and visible through professionally curated exhibitions and publications.
— Jake Stewart, The Rogue Curator

Jake has 40 years of experience in helping people tell stories through exhibitions, publications and oral/video archives. A specialist in fine art and museum object curation, he works at the intersection between artists, artworks, objects and their owners as he designs and realises vivid and accessible exhibitions..

As a board member for Poorboy and Tin Roof Collective he can often be found transforming spaces, places and the people who visit them.

An experienced leader, mentor and advisor - Jake has trained both professional and community gallery and museum staff. He previously worked with the Cultural Enterprise Office as a Specialist Advisor - helping curators, artists, collectors, board members and community organisations on all aspects of creating exhibitions, including capturing archival or oral history stories and the realities of working with galleries and museums.
