BIG IN FALKIRK - May 3rd and 4th 2008

Site specific theatre virtuosos, Poorboy, work their magic on the secret corners of Callender Park. Working in Association with Falkirk Youth and Childrens’ Theatre they take their audience on a journey under the skin of real life where - hidden deep - far from the shadow of an austere house, there lies a world where imagination still runs riot and all are allowed to dream……A timeless forest where spies hang from trees, laughter rules supreme and hot dogs grill deliciously on the fires of celebration until !!...twigs snap, flames flare and memories are extinguished forever.

Created with the support of UZ events and Falkirk Council, Changelings puts Poorboy’s work with young performers on a worldwide stage as local youngsters share Callander park with street theatre specialists from across the world as they perform a specially created site specific promenade adventure full of surrealism, surprises and sinister goings on to the sounds and music of a stonking soundtrack.

Changelings is a free performance as part of Scotland’s National street arts festival –Big in Falkirk.  Performance times and location can be seen at www.biginfalkirk.com
